Ana Santisteban was born in Cuenca (Spain) in 1990. She began her musical studies at the age of 8 at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Cuenca under the tutorial of Ana Bayón and Jose Mota.

In 2009 she was accepted at the Superior Music Conservatory in Murcia, where she studied with the professor and soloist Pablo Baron and Carmen Ros, finishing with Honour unanimously. In 2013 she moved to Brussels to study a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium of Brussels, in the class of the distinguished guitarist Antigoni Goni finishing in 2015 with “Cum Laude.” From 2015 to 2017 she studied a new master's degree at the Conservatoium of Maastricht, with professor Carlo Marchione.

She has also taken lessons from distinguished guitarists such as Raphaella Smith, Pepe Romero, José Luis Rodrigo, Eliot Fisk, Miguel Trápaga and Timo Korhonen.

She has performed as a soloist in several countries of Asia, America and Europe (Bangkok, México, London, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, France, Bélgium...), standing out her performances of “Concierto de Aranjuez” with the Silpakorn University Orchestra and Chulalongkorn University Orchestra of Thailand, “Joven Orquesta de Cuenca”, “Orquesta de Guitarras de la Región de Murcia”... She has been invited to play as soloist in many guitar festivals: Orchestra Festival of Giovanilli, International Harrogate Music Festival, Volterra Project Guitar (Italy), Festival of Cevennes (France), Festival Abundio Martínez (México), Andes guitar festival (Argentina). In addition, she received a grant at the “Curso Internacional Música Española en Compostela”, where she won the Andres Segovia award; and an award at the guitar international competition “Angel Piñero” (Spain).
